Objection Over Ruled!
The Verdict is final!
There cannot be Faith in God without Works.
As James 2 states
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.
24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
Yet in Romans 4 Paul says
5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:
7 “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
And whose sins are covered;
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”
What, what, what is going on then?
Yes I repeated what a few times this is serious folks.
You know there are some that look at this and say there you go the bible is full of contradictions. Christianity as we know it is deceived and The Apostle Paul was an imposter preaching heresy.
They go on to say that Pauls epistles and writings came after AD 50 well after Jesus was resurrected and so Paul made it all up and didn’t know Jesus. But well that means Luke who wrote Acts is also in error because he confirmed Pauls conversion from Saul the Pharisee of Pharisees who persecuted Christians to death to Paul after Jesus appeared to him as a bright light and knocked him off his horse. But wait there is more also John the beloved is included in this list of offenders, I haven’t quite worked out why, maybe its something to do with Revelation they don’t agree with, messes up their end times theories I suppose. An upsetting thing would be for these Apostle Paul Deniers is that John was Jesus Disciple and knew Jesus and was a direct eye witness to about everything from Jesus ministry, so wouldn’t it be much harder to rule him out? So now the New Testament is reduced to two gospels Mathew and Mark and then James and maybe Jude is allowed in I am not sure unless he upset them for saying pray in the Spirit and be edified from deception. So we have a very skinny New Testament now and they want us to swallow this big bad pill. No way Hosea, or no way buddy. So the early church fathers were wrong as well, who confirmed Pauls and Johns writings and teachings, Martin Luther and the Reformation would not be valid, we are saved by grace not works, that’s definitely gone in their minds.
These spin doctors of deception agents target Christians who don’t know the Bible, the vulnerable, wavering and young Christians not grounded in the foundations and support they need to be protected from being tricked into these cunningly crafted, false doctrines.
The biggest point the Paul Deniers need to consider is CONTEXT and proper interpretation.
Lets just look at some of Pauls writings shall we.
We are Gods Workmanship – notice the word work – this is Gods work in us. Ephesians 2:10.
Created in Christ Jesus beforehand – notice in Christ Jesus that is where our faith is, not in ourselves referring to independent works not of God, very important.
To do good works – notice the word works – yes Paul said works, you ridiculous people who say Paul is all about some airy fairy belief system in the sky.
First Paul establishes something and that is our faith in Christ Jesus that is to BE.
Then Paul goes on to apply the faith, so we need to DO the good works to demonstrate faith.
You see faith is necessary for the works to be in Christ Jesus not ourselves, we don’t have faith in ourselves to achieve righteousness, we have faith in God or display the God kind of faith. In other words you cant DO without BE in Christ.
James says faith without works is dead – notice he didn’t say without works you are dead, that’s kind of silly, if you got no works you aren’t doing anything, you are a stiff, obviously.
You know when people get a job to dig holes they do road works, they might do a great job, but they don’t dig holes to get themselves into Heaven, some people may actually dig holes for themselves to keep them out. In other words your works on their own isn’t what saves you. You need to combine faith with your works to be in CHRIST, otherwise guess what. Your works are dead, have no eternal value. But of cause we need to do our jobs , pay the bills, so we are not talking about that, we are referring to the good works, becoming more like Jesus and also advancing the Kingdom of God on earth. Growing up to be like Jesus is taking huge steps and makes a big difference.
Wakey Wakey people, get real with these devious doctrines, they are cunning devices because they have to make them believable, so people can fall for it, it’s a clever scam in other words.
In Pauls writings there is a distinct pattern, he lays the groundwork that we can build upon and makes sure we understand the WHO of the WHAT.
He first establishes that we are grounded in faith in Jesus Christ and then we will then apply the faith to establish our works are in the righteousness of God.
Examples, put off the old, put on the new, does that sound like no works at all? Paul also says mortify the deeds of the flesh by the spirit, that is following on with works based on your faith in Jesus who is our new life, Jesus is the way the truth and the life and now we can apply our understanding of this by faith and produce good works in HIM.
In HIM we live and have our being.
Paul is talking about Salvation when he mentions a man is blessed without works because it depends on having faith in God.
Without salvation we are lost and our works will not have eternal value.
His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven will achieve eternal results, otherwise we are in dead works and that’s not what James is referring to.
The difference is that some will attempt to apply works to achieve their righteousness, their works in other words is their own righteousness, which is self righteous, do you get it, it usually means the person is full of pride and very judgmental, as they feel superior to others in in their own eyes.
What James is talking about is that your daily faith walk takes action to demonstrate that you have faith and believe the Word of God. He shows that faith and works go together, but you first must have faith in God to be in the good works and demonstrate the greater works by following Jesus example.
The God kind of faith.
Not faith in your own works that will not get you anywhere, otherwise why would Jesus need to come to save anyone? As there would be a way to make it eventually to perfection as a grand master wise one of 2000 years old.
Paul doesn’t stop at salvation.
Paul says work out your salvation with fear and trembling, that’s works again, but you need faith to be saved and faith to grow into Christ as your old nature will overwhelm you at some point if you are striving to be perfect.
Yes you can create a veneer of good works up to a point.
But read the sermon on the mount in the Gospels, noone makes it, Jesus speaks to the motivations of the heart and the imaginations in the mind as well, have you ever thought a bad intention for someone, had lust in your imaginations even though you didn’t act on it physically?
You know when you are born do you stop there as a baby and don’t grow? Well yes some may appear to.
So it is with salvation and your faith, you need to act on it to grow and mature as a believer, otherwise your faith is dormant, not doing anything. That’s the baby learning to walk, otherwise the baby will stay in the cot and throw all his toys out, not good for growth.
Paul talks about putting off the old and putting on the new, what is that action, works!!!
Are you seeing this?
Lets continue in summary of Pauls exhortations.
Offering the body as a living sacrifice, hey that’s an act of your will and you are not asleep.
What about Paul. What did he do, did he just twiddle his thumbs as some would suppose?
He went and preached the Gospel, he was persecuted, he saw many miracles signs and wonders, obeyed God on many missionary journeys to radically change the world and spread the Gospel, is that faith without works?
Ridiculous, preposterous to suggest Paul a Jew with Jewish thinking would propose an airy fairy faith in the clouds, that you just exist without any engagement in this world.
If Paul believed what you propose, there wouldn’t be the church today, no biggest selling printed book ever the Bible in its completion, as he was the greatest contributor to the New Testament, the Gospel wouldn’t be preached, because hey just have faith and let it happen.
Just read the epistles Paul wrote do you see any inaction, no he lays down the foundation you are saved by grace in Jesus and then what??? Activate your faith, grow up into Christ like nature, bear fruit, apply your faith to love others and share the Good News, he outlines how you relate to others and God, apply faith to see Christ formed in you and the list goes on in every single epistle he wrote.
You know when you get a new bank credit card, you will need to activate it so it can be used in the real world applications, how do you do that? You use it!!! So for the critics, I ask you, how much action is there is with your faith, or is it just to fault find? Are you that dull of hearing and blind to the truth and just pick out your preferred scripture to create a false narrative? Get real Paul is Jewish and they function with application not just theories. Theoretical thinking is the Greek Mind, Plato, its just all in the mind. Paul doesn’t think that way, yes James addressed the Hebrews and obviously the Greek thinking slipped in, but he mainly addresses unbelief which leads to inaction – double mindedness which means lovers of the world.
So, to recap Pauls Epistles in a nutshell.
Faith Applied!
Faith Applied!
Faith Applied!
Faith Action!
Faith Action!
Faith Action!
Do you get the drift?
I am mainly talking to the false teachers and false doctrine perpetrators, every other believer can see the obvious, why, because we rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, we don’t lean on our own understanding, that’s self reliance which leads to self works which means dead works.
So works without the faith of Christ in us is dead works.
The tricksters also rely on people not checking some basic facts like they suggest since the bible wasn’t written until AD 50 – 90, which means the authors weren’t there when Jesus was on the earth and made it all up. Well do you realise that they didn’t have a printing press in those days it wasn’t invented, so they relied on scribes who wrote meticulously on a scroll, on a laboriously prepared parchment, this would have taken a lot of funding and years to develop.
Also, they didn’t have the daily news broadcasted on a newspaper or the internet, there was no internet in AD33 – this is a huge revelation to some. You know that they imagine you believing is that when Paul was knocked off his horse by the brilliant light of Jesus and a voice like thunder spoke to him. This is how they suppose things should be to validate this event, that the bystanders and Paul would have pulled out their cell phones and recorded this for the social network and the news stations, Paul would have stopped and taken a selfie with the bright light then got knocked off his horse which the bystanders would have captured, cmon now really is this what it has come to, we have to spell it out, the whole attempt to debunk our faith which has lasted the distance of time 2000 years plus, followers all around the world and growing, is totally ridiculous and very feeble even if played by very crafty means to trick people and dissuade them from the TRUTH of the Gospel.
Now James would have preached salvation as well and guess what it would have been, repent and put your faith in Jesus, but he wouldn’t have needed to explain this to the early believers, because on the most part they got it, you need faith in what Jesus did to be in Christ, which is the mystery, Christ in us is the hope of glory.
However the problem is the religious jews didn’t get it, because they had faith in their works not in Jesus and therefore they didn’t have the God kind of faith that Abraham had. Abraham the father of faith had complete reliance on God for the promise, Abraham didn’t conjure up his faith with a motivation course mantra or a bible theology degree, he had faith in God and His promise. Abraham was given by God a visual representation of the promise in the shining stars of the universe and didn’t waver in unbelief. God promised, so shall your seed be, Abraham believed he will BE and His seed will BE and he DID it.
However, the real issue with some that James referred to was that they were double minded and friends with the worlds way of doing things. They were not operating in the God kind of faith, they worked up their own style of faith based on legalism, formulas, quick fixes, mental manipulations and compromise. So their faith did not produce anything of true value, they didn’t have the God kind of faith, they had a worldly faith that had the appearance of good but was tainted in man-made doctrines, pride and the lusts of the flesh.
Next and worth a mention, we have the Greeks, the thinking philosophic ones, it was all in the mind, all I needed to do was have a concept in my mind and there was no need to demonstrate anything. No application just an idea of faith.
No Paul was all about a demonstration of faith, usually with miracles and signs and wonders following. In other words Paul walked the talk.
The clue is in the Greek way of thinking
Its all in the mind like you would have a conceptual faith which is Platonic.
This concept can be confused with being spiritual, but it is limited to the soul realm – having mind over matter – spiritual is unseen but is the higher realm that influences the physical and can change matter on the quantum level by faith.
However, the Jewish mind is very application orientated – a principle is applied in real life.
Paul was Jewish and trained as a Pharisee who lived by works – they were doers of the law to be righteous, now obeying the law of God is the right thing to do, however, they thought they had made it, but their heart attitude stank. Pride is very subtle and they slipped into outward works as a show, but inside their hearts and the motivations were selfish ambition and not done by faith in the ways of God which is love and truth.
If you can obtain righteousness by living the law then why should Jesus come at all? You could say to forgive sins yes true, but what about having His divine life at work in you? Taking up the cross daily, being His disciple, losing your life to gain His life, can you do these to perfection without faith in God? We would hope that we work out our salvation with HIM, while walking by faith. If we abide in the vine then we will produce fruit, if we don’t abide and work on our own then we dry up and become very religious but have no life in us, this is dead works which produces nothing of lasting value.
Righteous by your own efforts without Christ is without faith and is dead works.
James said show me your faith by your works. He didn’t say have no faith just do works. Faith then will be demonstrated by works.
The focus is off us and on Jesus, Christ in You.
We must understand something, that Self Agenda is Self Righteousness.
Without the love of God, it is Self Love and not the love of the Father which comes from abiding in His Presence in the living vine anointing – worldly love with an agenda based on a religious practice or a wrong motive is not the love of the Father.
The Love of the Father is His will being done – abiding in the vine means you may ask what you desire and it is done in faith.
Great intentions seem virtuous, but tainted love is a sad reality.
Lets look at more of Pauls inspired by God writings. The Canonised Word of God.
1 Corinthians 3:9 KJV.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder,
I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.
Notice that verbs used, the master builder, building, labourers with God. An English Language lesson verbs = action.
Ephesians 2
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Just notice good works and we are His workmanship. Need I go on?
Hebrews 6
9 But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.
10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,
12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Let me just say faith in action demonstrated, James gives this the thumbs up.
Now for another important point to add to this message as a bonus.
Diversity but ONE in HIM.
Let us bring two opposites together to form divine order.
Left and Right Brain thinking, yes surprise, we need both to have both sides of the story.
An overall perspective.
The creative and the practical go together.
Let me now bring Pauls teaching on what – yes that’s right, diversity. Paul mentions diversity and the need for it, do you mean this concept was taught 2 thousand years ago? Correct!!! Nothing new under the sun.
Diversity, yes Paul taught diversity both left and right brain thinking is honoured and necessary for completion, it is a collaboration to form the whole. In Corinthians and Ephesians Paul talks about diversity of gifts and operations coming together, not a one sided point of view. We need you, we need everybody doing their unique thing in other words, if you are on the fringe that’s OK as long as you operate within the image and excellence how God made you to be, within the sphere of influence you would have for such a time as this.
Remember, God has boundaries for a reason, for our good and protection, He doesn’t come up with laws to exercise some type of control over His subjects, He offers security and well-being for our good and offers us free will to choose what is right. He placed you in time and space before time began to be and do. Your uniqueness adds to the diversity of gifts and talents and individual expression. You were uniquely crafted as an individual and part of the multi-faceted splendour of God in His creation, no one else can do life like you do. Diversity – God created it and He saw that it is good.
Let me propose a new concept for all the Greek Minded logical thinkers out there, lets reason this out, lets be objective – I propose Diversity in HIM is Godly Order and will prosper, Diversity contrived by Men’s Traditions, Agendas’ and Philosophies are harmful by tainted ideologies. Which do you prefer a twisted and limited mind view or Gods infinite wisdom guiding the ship? So, bring it on, Diversity in HIM under the Lordship of Jesus and we will be smooth sailing. I can’t wait for the positive feedback from this comment.
AS we know from true history untainted by a false history narrative, that all Languages and Cultures, Diverse Peoples, originated at the Tower of Babel. This all occurred after Nimrod united people under a Globalist Agenda Reign that was ahead of its time. However, this reign was headed for total corruption and rampant evil in control of all under its totalitarian rule. That information will go down really well, that utopia was a horror show and God had to stop the untied vision under the spell of the evil agenda hive mind by splitting the peoples into the basis of 70 nations for all people groups that exist today. Otherwise, if they were permitted to continue opening up the portal to hell and allowing pure evil from the underworld into our realm it would have resulted in a monster show global village nightmare. Fortunately, the world was spared from this annihilation by God creating languages, confusing their plans and also bringing further diversity of people and they were no longer united by these evil intentions. What this means for us today is that all people groups, nations, are derived from the 3 sons of Noah, so we are all related by traceable DNA, even if we are black, brown, red, yellow and white.
But in Christ we are ONE yet diverse, that’s called unity and working together for the common good, all looking after everyone else, true equality, yep Paul taught on that two thousand years ago. We don’t mean a defiled equality based on secular ideologies.
Colossians 3:11
11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.
Finally, we don’t need to think we have to measure up to some level before receiving from God.
Yes, we submit to Him and resist the devil and God will lift us up.
Ephesians 2
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
I stand here and give you this message only by the grace of God and nothing to do with what I can do and conceive.
His goodness is the only reason I can say these things.
I am not better than anyone else, but for the grace of God I stand.
Do I struggle with the things said here? Yes absolutely, do I want to be independent, work it out myself do my own thing? Yes of cause, do I struggle to surrender, have weaknesses? yes!!! When sin abounds, grace abounds more, at the end of the day I know what is best, His will being done and God knows better than anyone.
The Good news is Jesus came and saved us, the goodness of God leads us to repentance, His mercies are new every morning. Blessings.
Romans 8:7,8
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:29
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son,
Be then Do
